This hotel offers great value for money, especially considering its prices in an area that is not very touristy. Despite being located in the Muslim district and a crowded area, the hotel provides comfortable and clean rooms without a window. The friendly staff and their attentive service make the stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, the basic amenities and breakfast offered add to the overall positive experience.
No significant improvements necessary, all was fine.

The rooms at Hotel Al Mehraj are cozy and comfortable, perfect for winding down after a long day. I loved the seating area where I could relax and catch up on some TV shows. Plus, the air-conditioning and free WiFi were a huge bonus for me as a tech-savvy guest.
I personally found the bathrooms with only bathtubs or showers a bit inconvenient, but hey, it's just my personal preference. Others might actually enjoy the option of a relaxing bath or a quick shower.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in many aspects. the value for money was excellent. The prices were affordable and reasonable for the quality of service and amenities provided. Secondly, I was impressed by the attention to detail throughout the hotel. From the cleanliness of the rooms to the basic amenities provided, everything was well taken care of. Lastly, the location in the Muslim district added an authentic touch to my stay. It was interesting to explore a less touristy area and experience the local culture.
There was one minor aspect that could be improved upon.

I stayed at this hotel for a few days and it was in a convenient location for getting taxis to the attractions. The Muslim district it's located in offers a variety of affordable food options. The room, though basic, was well maintained. The wifi was surprisingly fast compared to what I have at home in the UK. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making my stay enjoyable. it's a budget-friendly option in Mumbai.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located near Masjid local train station, which makes it easy to get around the area. There is also a market road nearby for shopping and dining. the location is overpopulated and can be noisy at night. the rooms are small and damp, with no windows for ventilation or natural light. the staff is unhelpful and unresponsive to guests' concerns. the wifi is often unreliable, and the bedding is uncomfortable. the hotel lacks any view or good breakfast options.
The bathroom facilities are basic and often unclean.

We had a great budget-friendly stay in an off-the-beaten-path neighborhood. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the wifi was lightning fast. Plus, we loved that the hotel offered tasty local breakfast options.
The location was a bit tricky to find and some taxis refused to drive down the narrow roads. , the beds and pillows were a bit uncomfortable, but this seems to be common in the area.

The comfortable beds and clean linens were just perfect for a romantic getaway. The Wi-Fi signal was strong and stable, allowing us to browse and stream content with ease. Best of all, the hotel was nestled in a quaint and peaceful neighborhood, providing us the much needed respite from the bustling city.
The soundproofing was non-existent, and we could hear every bit of noise from the street outside. It was incredibly frustrating to be woken up by the honking and shouting of passers-by every morning. Also, the room was infested with mosquitoes, leaving us with no choice but to spend the night under the covers. it was an uncomfortable and disappointing experience that could have been much better.

The receptionist at Al Mehraj went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. He even helped us navigate the tricky shower controls so we could have a refreshing shower. The fast and reliable wifi was a pleasant surprise, and the friendly staff made us feel welcome. Despite the hotel's location being a bit challenging, we found Uber to be a convenient and affordable option. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its budget-friendly rates and helpful staff.

The rooms at Hotel Al Mehraj were cozy and comfortable, with a seating area that made it easy to unwind after a long day exploring the city. The air-conditioning and free WiFi were a big plus, allowing me to relax and stay connected during my stay. I also appreciated the TV with satellite channels, giving me options for entertainment.
Personally, I found the showers in the private bathrooms a bit small. However, I understand that this is based on my own preference and others may not mind it at all.
